  • 2–3 years of experience in leasing or rental roles (apartment rental industry preferred)
  • Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Self-motivated and able to manage tasks independently
  • Experience with property management systems (Hopem, Building Stack, RentSync) is an asset

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our clients team in Ottawa’s downtown core. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the leasing process, from first inquiry through to move-in, while providing ongoing support to tenants. If you have experience in leasing or residential rentals and a passion for delivering excellent service, we’d love to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to tenant inquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Schedule and conduct property tours for prospective tenants
  • Lease apartments and ensure accurate completion of agreements
  • Inspect units to ensure readiness and marketability
  • Prepare, review, and maintain lease documentation
  • Create and follow up on work orders for payments, renewals, and repairs
  • Maintain daily activity reports for the Property Manager
  • Manage tenant parking assignments
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service throughout the tenant lifecycle
