JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process, providing exceptional customer service, and building strong relationships with potential tenants. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to negotiate effectively. The Leasing Agent will play a crucial role in promoting our properties and ensuring tenant satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in a leasing or property management environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decisions positively.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks, including filing, record keeping, and data entry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on phone etiquette.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.

  • Assist potential tenants with the application process, ensuring all required documentation is collected and submitted.
  • Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants while adhering to company policies and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities using property management software such as Buildium.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective tenants to foster a positive community atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure all leasing paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Utilize effective phone etiquette to communicate professionally with clients and vendors.
