Position Overview The Leasing Consultant is responsible for leasing apartments, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming experience for current and prospective residents. The ideal candidate has a strong sales background and experience with Yardi (preferred). Key Responsibilities Greet and qualify prospective residents (in-person and by phone) Conduct community tours and demonstrate apartment homes using product knowledge and closing techniques Process applications and secure deposits in accordance with company policies and Fair Housing guidelines Record all traffic and maintain accurate guest cards and reports Follow up with prospects to close sales and refer to sister communities when appropriate Monitor advertising effectiveness and track local market competition Process resident service requests and ensure timely follow-up Represent the company professionally at all times Complete assigned tasks and projects within deadlines Qualifications 2+ years of leasing, sales, or related experience Yardi experience preferred Leasing 101 certification required within first 3 months Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Strong communication, sales, and closing skills Professional phone and in-person etiquette Positive, solution-oriented, and resident-focused mindset Basic computer proficiency
