It is located within Libbie Mill-Midtown, one of RVA's most liveable and vibrant community that forms the heart of the rapidly emerging Midtown area. We are looking to add a Leasing Agent with previous residential leasing experience to our team. As a leasing agent you will greet prospective residents, qualifies, determines needs and preferences, answers incoming phone calls and handles accordingly. You will maintain awareness of local market conditions and trends and assist in creative and efficient ways to market the property and be responsible for maintaining a professional and friendly atmosphere in the leasing office and other common areas of the property. An ideal Leasing Agent candidate will have prior experience in customer service and one year experience in leasing and property management. Requirements Leasing Agent Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field OR Minimum of one year experience in leasing and property management or combination of education and experience Good leasing and/or closing skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Strong organizational skills (will be in charge of lease renewals and maintenance resident records) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Can ensure all lease applications are completed in full and perform application verification Team player 1+ years of customer service Prior experience preparing move in packets and coordinating move-ins is a plus Supports the goals and principles of federal and state fair housing laws Conducts business in accordance with company policies and procedures and government laws pertaining to employers and apartments
