Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team in the Lansing Area. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the leasing process for our residential properties, ensuring an exceptional experience for prospective tenants. This position requires strong administrative and sales skills, as well as a solid understanding of property management practices and Fair Housing regulations. Duties: Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants, highlighting features and benefits. Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and other documentation using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite. Perform data entry tasks related to tenant information and lease agreements. Assist in upselling additional services or amenities to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention. Stay informed about local rental market trends and competitor offerings to effectively position properties. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process.
