Description

Arnon Development Corporation Limited is a successful property developer and landlord in Canada’s National Capital Region. We are seeking a driven Leasing and Real Estate Officer to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of our properties. This is a full-time permanent, on-site position based at our Head Office on Woodward Drive.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Active RECO License (required)
  • 3+ years of experience in real estate leasing or asset management
  • Strong understanding of leasing processes, legal requirements, and tenant relations
  • Skilled in negotiation, relationship building, and market research
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (bilingualism is considered an asset)
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Resourceful, motivated, personable, and adaptable
  • Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management systems is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license and a vehicle are required for this position
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and available for on-site work at our office

Responsibilities

Leasing:

  • Ensure that the portfolio is well-leased relative to the applicable market
  • Source new tenant prospects, field leasing enquiries, conduct leasing tours
  • Prepare financial deal analysis (TVM), negotiate deal terms, and draft proposals and RFP responses
  • Maintain strong knowledge of market trends to develop and implement effective leasing strategies

Asset Management:

  • Support the President in developing and implementing asset strategies across the property portfolio, including development sites

Business Development:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, tenants, and industry stakeholders
  • Proactively seek new clients and opportunities including potential acquisitions, syndications, brokerage and management opportunities

Marketing:

  • Play a lead role in the development and maintenance of professional marketing materials
  • Enhance the company’s online and social media presence

Reporting and Financial Analysis:

  • Prepare leasing reports and contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting cycles
  • Support annual budget planning with leasing assumptions and related materials
  • Review real estate tax and operating cost analyses

Team Collaboration:

  • Work effectively with key stakeholders including the Executive Assistant, Property Management, Project Management, and Accounting teams
