Job Title: Leasing and Tenant Services Specialist (US Property Management) Location: Remote Time Zone: US Time Zones (EST–PST) Role Overview We are looking for a proactive and tenant-focused Leasing and Tenant Services Specialist to support leasing operations and tenant experience across a US residential portfolio. This role is central to keeping occupancy rates high, tenants satisfied, and properties well-maintained. You will handle everything from leasing inquiries and lease renewals through to maintenance coordination and rent follow-up. Prior hands-on experience working in US property management is essential — candidates without this background will not be considered. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound leasing inquiries, schedule showings, and guide prospective tenants through the application process Prepare and manage lease agreements, renewals, and related documentation Monitor rent collection, identify delinquencies, and follow up with tenants on outstanding balances Coordinate and track maintenance and repair requests, ensuring timely resolution through vendor management Build and maintain strong tenant relationships, addressing concerns and resolving issues efficiently Manage move-in and move-out coordination including walkthroughs, inspections, and deposit tracking Maintain up-to-date tenant records, lease files, and property data within property management systems Provide regular updates to property owners on occupancy, maintenance status, and tenant matters Required Qualifications 1+ years of leasing or property management experience within the US residential real estate market Demonstrated experience across leasing, rent collection, tenant communication, and maintenance coordination Working knowledge of US leasing practices, rental agreements, and tenant management processes Experience using US property management platforms such as AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi, or similar Must have prior remote work experience, be fluent with remote collaboration tools and platforms (such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar), and have ideally worked with US-based companies. Preferred Qualifications Experience in leasing for multi-family or single-family residential portfolios in the US Knowledge of US fair housing laws and tenant rights regulations Familiarity with online listing platforms such as Zillow, Apartments.com, or similar Spanish language proficiency Tools & Technology AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi, Propertyware, or similar Google Workspace Slack, Zoom Zillow, Apartments.com, or similar listing platforms Task and project management tools (Asana, ClickUp, Trello) Please NOTE It is crucial that you complete the application form in full.
