Description

Six Star Properties is looking to hire a Leasing Consultant for a 241-unit tax credit apartment property in Colorado Spring, CO. The ideal candidate must have tax credit experience.
Position Summary: As a Leasing Consultant, you represent our community quality and give our customers exceptional service. You must successfully lease partments by discovering and exceeding the customers’ expectations. In addition, you are expected to assist in the building’s marketing and advertising to generate traffic. Furthermore, you are expected to demonstrate a strong leasing performance by consistently meeting weekly leasing expectations and goals.

SKILLS

  • Proven working experience as a leasing consultant
  • Have tax credit experience
  • Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations
  • Proven track record of successful sales
  • Basic understanding of MS Office
  • Exquisite presentation and negotiation skills
  • Well-versed in marketing and sales techniques
  • Customer-focused approach
  • Property Management software ( Appfolio) - preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a leasing environment in Property Management.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the leasing process, including leasing apartments, preparing lease paperwork, and ensuring a smooth move-in.
  • Greet clients, assess needs, answer questions, and provide tours of the apartments and community.
  • Process applications and prepare and review lease agreements and renewals.
  • Respond to in-person, phone, and email inquiries, including providing leasing information, making appointments, and creating and following up with maintenance requests.
  • Consistently communicates with active prospects.
  • Evaluate customer needs while communicating relevant benefits.
  • Assist Property Manager with completing weekly leasing reports.
  • Receive deposits and rent money and record appropriately.
  • Assist Property Manager in the resident renewal process
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist all clients with a positive and friendly tone.
