OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the leasing process, providing exceptional customer service while managing tenant relationships and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This position requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of property management, and the ability to effectively negotiate and upsell properties.
Hours: 8:30-5pm, Monday- Friday

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in property management or real estate administrative roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs and Section 8 housing is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with tenants.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and office experience.
  • Knowledge of conflict management techniques and negotiation strategies.
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is beneficial.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
  • Assist with the leasing process, including application processing and lease signing.
  • Maintain knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law to ensure compliance.
  • Utilize property management software such as Yardi and OneSite for data entry, filing, and customer relationship management.
  • Handle tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
  • Support property maintenance requests and coordinate with facilities management as needed.
  • Implement sales strategies to upsell properties and enhance occupancy rates.
  • Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, contracts, and tenant communications.
