JOB SUMMARY

As the Leasing Manager at Leyad, you will have a strong focus on retail leasing and will be involved in all leasing activities across our property portfolio, including strategy development, prospecting, negotiations, and tenant relations. You will work closely with asset managers, and operations to ensure high occupancy rates, optimize revenue, and uphold Leyad’s reputation for excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial leasing, ideally within a fast-paced retail real estate environment.
  • Strong understanding of leasing laws, contract negotiation, and market analysis.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and real estate platforms (e.g., Yardi, Salesforce, or Condo Manager).
  • Bilingual (French and English) is a strong asset.
  • Real estate license or certification (where applicable) is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive leasing strategies to attract and retain high-quality tenants for commercial spaces.
  • Manage the full leasing cycle: prospecting, site tours, lease negotiations, document preparation, and deal execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, tenants, and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, pricing benchmarks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present regular leasing activity reports to senior management.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to design and implement promotional campaigns, signage, and online listings.
  • Ensure lease agreements are accurate, compliant, and aligned with Leyad’s standards.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel as needed on lease terms and tenant agreements.
  • Monitor lease expirations and proactively initiate renewal discussions.
  • Participate in property visits and contribute to asset repositioning or redevelopment planning when required.
