Description

We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Leasing & Operations Manager to lead our commercial and retail leasing operations across premium retail and mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate brings deep industry knowledge, a robust network of retail tenants (especially anchor brands), and a proven ability to drive revenue through strategic leasing and operations management.
This is a senior-level position, and only candidates with a minimum of 10 years of UAE retail real estate experience will be considered.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in leasing, operations, or property management within the UAE retail real estate market
  • Proven expertise in:
  • Retail leasing (including luxury and fashion brands)
  • Anchor tenant acquisition
  • Tenant mix & leasing strategy
  • FMCG & F&B leasing
  • Revenue-share negotiations
  • Mall and commercial property operations
  • Strong network across leading retail brands and developers
  • Track record of managing and leasing premium properties in competitive markets
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute the leasing strategy for commercial and retail properties, focusing on tenant mix optimization and anchor tenant acquisition
  • Manage the full leasing cycle – from prospecting to negotiation, documentation, and onboarding
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with major retail groups such as Al-Futtaim, Chalhoub Group, Apparel Group, Landmark Group, Majid Al Futtaim, and similar leading retail operators in the UAE
  • Oversee mall management, ensuring a seamless retail experience, high occupancy, and operational excellence
  • Coordinate with tenants on fit-out processes to ensure compliance with design and brand guidelines
  • Negotiate lease agreements, including revenue share models, rent structures, and long-term commitments
  • Drive performance through a clear asset management strategy aligned with business objectives and market trends
  • Monitor competitor developments and identify opportunities for retail brand acquisition and expansion
  • Ensure a high level of tenant satisfaction through proactive tenant relations and issue resolution
