JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled Leasing Professional to join our team at The Flats at Avalon Park. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leasing activities, ensuring tenant satisfaction, maintaining property occupancy levels, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
· High School diploma or GED, minimum
· 2 years’ work experience as a Leasing Professional or similar position
· Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
· Fair Housing regulations
· Excellent problem-solving skills
· Strong people skills
· ResMan or similar property management software experience preferred
· Must be available to work on weekends

· Ensure the target apartments are ready for show each day.
· Conduct property tours for prospective tenants.
· Process lease applications and renewals.
· Utilize knowledge of Fair Housing regulations in leasing processes.
· Provide excellent customer service to current and potential tenants.
· Manage lease agreements and related administrative tasks.
· Ensure compliance with leasing policies and procedures.
· Inspect the curbside before opening the office to ensure it is clean and presentable.
· Open the office to the public and transfer phones from the answering services a the time designated by Management.
· Knowledge of telephone and sales techniques.
· Play an active role in the renewal process; complete application and lease forms, collect rental deposits, and handle applicant and resident monies.
· Assist with insurance compliance, ensuring all residents meet the necessary requirements.
· Knowledge of current market conditions; assist Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager in conducting periodic market surveys and outreach marketing.
· Follow all Leasing & Traffic instructions provided on the department’s Policies & Procedures form.
· Keep proper maintenance of all resident/property files.
· Report unusual/extraordinary circumstances regarding the property, etc.
· Daily input of property activity into the system is a must, including logs of prospects, inquiries, etc.
· Courteous, efficient handling of resident requests and complaints.
· Efficient and timely processing of all required administrative forms, reports, and related information.
· Assist, when necessary, in the collection of delinquent rents.
· Represent the Company in a professional and safety-conscious manner at all times.
· Consistently maintain a professional, courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers, and the general public.
· Travel to other company locations in Central Florida to perform duties assigned by Management.
· Maintain work areas and office in a clean, orderly, and safety-conscious manner.
· Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
This position reports to the Residential Property Manager.
