Denton Floyd Real Estate Group is growing and looking for an energetic Leasing Specialist to join our Jeffersonville, IN team. We are a well-capitalized real estate company involved in the ownership and management of apartment communities, with additional construction and commercial development divisions. About the Role The Leasing Specialist supports the Property Manager in all aspects of community operations, with a primary focus on leasing, marketing, and resident relations. Your goal is 100% occupancy — achieved through resident retention, leasing current availability, and pre-leasing future units. Responsibilities Greet prospective residents warmly, qualify leads, and present properties in a persuasive, professional manner using feature/benefit selling techniques Complete lease applications, assist with verification, and notify applicants of results promptly Negotiate leasing terms and execute lease agreements Respond quickly and professionally to resident concerns and service requests Promote available units through social media and other marketing channels Conduct periodic property inspections and ensure proper maintenance Maintain accurate resident records and update daily reports (vacancy, notice to vacate, activity) Qualifications Minimum 1 year of residential property management leasing experience (required) 1 year of Yardi experience (required) Knowledge of leasing rules and regulations Proven track record in sales and customer service Warm, friendly, and professional communication style — in person and by phone Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment Proficient in MS Office Valid driver's license and reliable transportation High school diploma or equivalent Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred) Must pass drug screening and background check Must be available to work weekends as needed Competitive pay with quarterly bonuses Medical, dental, and vision insurance (no waiting period) 401(k) with matching Life insurance, FSA/HSA, and employee assistance program Generous PTO and parental leave Employee discounts and referral program
