Dream Live Prosper Communities is now hiring for an energetic and experienced Leasing Specialist for our flagship Dream Asheville Exchange community. The Leasing Specialist plays a critical role in the success of our community by driving leasing activity, selling our world class apartment homes, marketing the community and providing wow customer service. This is a forward facing role that will interact with both residents and guests. The right candidate will be a motivated and outgoing professional with a proven track record in leasing, sales or other related field. About this opportunity: Location: Dream Asheville Exchange, 105 Exchange Cir, Asheville, NC 28806 Compensation: $18.00-$23.00 per hour plus an aggressive commission and incentive program Position type: Full-time What we are looking for in a Leasing Specialist Candidate: A strong background in multiple years of multifamily property management is preferred Proven ability to drive positive results while representing and promoting core values Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong outreach and social media marketing background Experience conducting accurate market surveys by conducting in-person shops on a regular basis A sense of empowerment, accountability, and success at achieving goals, driving performance, and developing team members Appfolio, G-suite, and Microsoft Office experience is a plus Organizing and coordinating resident events monthly What you will do as a Leasing Specialist: Respond to all leads within 4 hours and manage the full lead-to-lease process Prospect weekly and build relationships with local businesses for cross-promotion Network with major employers, universities, and hospitals to generate traffic Conduct leasing tours using DLP’s Standards of Excellence and close with confidence Assist prospects in applying using online tools and proven closing techniques Create and lead resident programs to enhance the living experience Build relationships with current and past residents to drive referrals Regularly walk and inspect the property to ensure cleanliness and functionality Maintain accurate CRM records, guest cards, follow-ups, and lease paperwork Communicate consistently with the Community Manager, leadership, and teammates Attend all required meetings and trainings; manage goals and time effectively What Motivates Us: Making an Impact: At DLP, making a difference is at the heart of everything we do, whether it’s for our residents, investors, or business partners.
