JOB OVERVIEW:

A Leather Craftsman or Box Maker is responsible for designing, cutting, assembling, and finishing leather products, such as bags, wallets, belts, and packaging boxes. This role requires skilled craftsmanship, precision, and attention to detail to create high-quality handmade or machine-assisted leather goods.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in leatherwork, crafting, or box-making.
• Proficiency in hand tools and industrial sewing machines.
• Attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to read and follow design templates.
• Knowledge of different leather types and their properties.
• Creativity and problem-solving skills.
  · Can work in a workshop, factory, or independently as a craftsman.
  · May involve working with machinery and tools that require safety precautions.
  · Custom projects may involve collaboration with designers or clients.
