As a Senior Benefits Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and coordinating our benefit plans. What you will be doing Administer and coordinate employee leave programs, including FMLA, parental leave, medical leave, personal leave, military leave, and other company-sponsored leave programs. Manage the leave process from intake through return-to-work, including employee communications, documentation, tracking, and case management. Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, and HR partners regarding leave eligibility, processes, and status updates. Coordinate with third-party leave administrators and state-sponsored disability and paid leave programs to ensure timely and accurate claim processing. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local leave laws and company policies. Maintain accurate leave records and reporting within HR systems. Assist with ADA accommodation-related leave administration and return-to-work coordination. Support benefits administration activities, including employee inquiries, life event changes, and benefit continuation during leaves of absence. Assist with open enrollment, benefits communications, and vendor coordination as needed. Support the Benefits and Total Rewards teams with general support and inquiries. Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan. Support published corporate policies. Perform additional assignments per management’s direction. What we are looking for 2-4 years in Benefits, with direct experience in processing leaves of absence. High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred. Exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail required. High level of ethics and integrity required. Excellent customer service skills required. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to be approachable and welcoming to questions from business support administration, HR field team and employees at all levels of the company. Strong time management skills. Bi-lingual in English/Spanish is highly preferred. Able to work in a fast-paced team environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality with employee personal information. Intermediate level skill in computer processing and data entry.
