Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 annually, plus bonus potential

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Leave of Absence Specialist position is responsible for managing leave, ADA, and accommodation matters across the organization. This role ensures a positive and productive work environment, partnering with Operational leaders to ensure prompt and organized communication and administration of leaves and accommodations by ensuring that the company complies with labor laws and internal policies. Furthering the People department’s mission of enabling strategy, shaping behaviors and driving results, the Leave of Absence Specialist solves organizational challenges through people-related solutions. The position formulates partnerships across the People function to deliver value-added service to management and associates that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 4+ years of Human Resources experience, with an emphasis on Leave Administration
- Minimum education level of: BA/BS degree (4 year) in related field, Master’s Degree preferred
- PHR/SHRM-CP or related HR Certification strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Experience with Workday is highly desired
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be willing to travel as per the needs of the business
- Strong knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and labor relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.

- Possess exceptional organizational skills, prioritize, maintain attention to detail, and manage multiple projects
- Exhibit the ability to lead change, use data for informed actions, and conduct thorough review of leave and accommodations documentation
- Strategic thinker with experience in execution of complex, cross-functional projects, and programs
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
