Description

EDUCATION

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse Program required.

EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years of previous clinical experience in operational functions required, preferably within an occupational health, emergency or urgent care setting.
  • 2-4 years of experience with end-to-end absence management including leave, ADA, and short term disability, preferably in a union environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulations related to absence and accommodations
  • Ability to interpret and apply collective bargaining unit agreements as they relate to leave of absences and accommodations
  • Ability to discern potential safety concerns (for customers or team members) related to return to work and elevate issues appropriately
  • Ability to work effectively within a team to provide a seamless leave and accommodation experience for team members
  • Ability to make decisions and consult regarding absence and accommodation decision to leaders and other stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Independent problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in MS Office products.
