With services from facility maintenance and janitorial to landscaping and snow removal, we enable desired outcomes for our clients through consistent service and outstanding people. We are seeking to hire a Leaves and Benefits Administrator to join our team. This is a fully remote opportunity, but must reside in the Central and Eastern time zone.
This role is responsible for two large aspects of our HR Administration Department: Benefits and Leaves of Absence. This person is responsible for running employee leave programs and managing benefits packages, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. This role involves managing leave requests and researching, understanding, and providing guidance on leave laws such as FMLA, ADA, and other applicable regulations. They also manage our benefits package, working with employees, brokers, and providers.
Key Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in leave administration, benefits management, or HR-related roles.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, COBRA, and other applicable labor laws.
  • Experience with HRIS and benefits administration platforms, specifically UKG.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and the ability to create reports. Understanding formulas such as Xlookup and Pivot tables is strongly preferred.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytic skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with experience in resolving employee inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
  • Track record of taking initiative and owning processes.
  • A proven ability to exercise a high degree of confidentiality, discretion and diplomacy.
  • Ability to work well independently and on a team.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification (preferred)
