Are you an organized and compassionate professional with expertise in employee leave management? Edmonton Catholic Schools is seeking a dedicated Leave Specialist to support employees throughout their leave journey and off-boarding with accuracy and care.
In this critical role, you will manage leave requests, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company policies, labor agreements, vendor contracts, and applicable regulations. You will also handle confidential information with discretion, provide guidance to employees, and collaborate with internal and external partners to facilitate a smooth leave of absence and off-boarding process.
By effectively managing leave processes, the Leave Specialist plays a vital role in promoting employee well-being, ensuring legal compliance, and contributing to overall operational efficiency. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule and is based out of Lumen Christi Catholic Education Centre (Capilano) and travel to Division sites within Edmonton is required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Post-secondary diploma Office Administration, Human Resources, or another related field.
3-5 years of experience working in Human Resources and administering Human Resources data, workflow or records-management.
Alternate equivalencies of education and experience may be considered.
