THE ROLE:

Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking a passionate and skilled Lecturer – eSports to join our Digital and Creative Innovation (DACI) team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of eSports education while contributing to a dynamic, future-focused academic environment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

As a Lecturer – eSports, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences to our students. Your main duties will involve:

• Delivering and managing high-quality, inclusive teaching and assessment in eSports.
• Supporting curriculum development, quality improvement, and compliance with programme specifications.
• Driving student recruitment, retention, progression, and achievement through targeted support.
• Using digital and face-to-face tools (e.g., VLE, tracking software) to enhance student learning and success.
• Contributing to the wider academic community through research, professional practice, and industry engagement.
