Salary Scale -£22.88-£35.64 per hour
GENERAL:
QUALIFICATIONS:
A good level of education including Maths & English at Level 2 (GCSE or Equivalent) - Essential - Application form/ certification
Degree in a relevant subject area - Essential - Application form/ certification
Full teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DIT) or the willingness to work towards one, supported by the College - Essential - Application form/ certification
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE OF:
Proven experience of teaching Media courses including L1, L2 & L3 programmes - Essential -Supporting statement/teaching assessment/interview
Knowledge and experience of the following - Essential - Supporting statement /Certification/ interview
Teaching experience in delivering or exposure to T-Levels in Media Broadcast and Production or a willingness to participate in continued professional development to upskill in order to be able to teach T Levels - Desirable - Supporting Statement / Interview

Experience of using the Adobe Creative Suite - Essential - Supporting Statement / Interview

JOB PURPOSE:
The main purpose of the role is to deliver high quality education and training to ensure the retention and achievement of our learners. To teach across Media courses from level 1 to level 3 including T Levels. The lecturer will teach, develop, and enhance programs of study in subjects and courses that align with their knowledge, qualifications, and experience.
