· Level 3 Electrical Installation – Essential
· Maths & English GCSE at Grace C/4 or above (or OfQual approved equivalent) – Essential
· Formal Teaching Qualification (Cert Ed/ PGCE / BA Ed) – Desirable
· Degree in a relevant subject – Desirable

SKILLS

· Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of subject area – Essential
· Experience of working within the post 16/HE sector supporting learners – Essential
· Recent and relevant industry experience in sector - Essential
· Experience in post 16 education / training including curriculum design, delivery, assessment and evaluation – Desirable

Responsibilities

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to complement our existing delivery team. The successful candidate will have a wide range of experience in the Electrical Installation sector along with the drive and passion to contribute to the expansion of the department as we strive towards becoming an outstanding provider of education and training.
You will be an excellent communicator, combined with advanced organisational skills and have the ability to work with people across a broad range of sectors. This role will compliment a strong existing team and build upon our vision for the future as we grow and develop.
You will possess a NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent. Recent relevant teaching experience along with a recognised teaching qualification is considered advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided from our outstanding teacher education department.
