ABOUT US
Coventry College is a dynamic Further Education provider at the heart of the city, offering high-quality vocational, technical, and professional education to learners of all ages, from Entry Level to Higher Education. Since forming in 2017, we’ve been committed to helping individuals transform their lives and supporting businesses to grow—strengthening the communities we serve. Our ambition is to help young people and adults to aspire to change their lives and those of their families. Through strong partnerships and a responsive, inclusive curriculum, we strive to deliver excellence in teaching and learning that evolves with industry needs and puts learners and employers in the best position for success. Recent investments in facilities, including electric vehicle tech, construction, and digital skills, ensure we stay at the cutting edge of industry needs.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Lecturer to join our team, delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to support our learners in achieving their full potential. You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that meet curriculum standards and reflect industry needs.
Are you ready for your next challenge in Further Education? Do you have a passion for education with plenty of enthusiasm to develop and inspire the next generation? We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to join a growing team, teaching on Level 2 and Level 3.
You will hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant Games Design/Games Art discipline, a degree in a related field is desirable, and a relevant teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards). Experience and knowledge of specific games design packages including Maya, Substance Painter and Unreal Engine is essential.
Recent or current vocational experience in Games Design and of teaching games development, digital graphics and animation would be advantageous.
You must be able to demonstrate a real enthusiasm for teaching with an ability to motivate and inspire learners to succeed.
