ROLE

Sefton Sixth Form College is seeking a Teacher of A-level English Language & Literature to join our Faculty of Creative Arts and Social Studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to ensure successful learner outcomes and maximise student potential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Teach both A-level English Language and A Level English Language and Literature combined
  • Implement effective feedback and assessment systems
  • Deliver lessons aligned with TLA Principles
  • Contribute to curriculum innovation, development, and implementation
  • Maintain a professional learning environment
  • Contribute to the delivery of the enhancement program

MAIN TASKS:

  • Deliver motivating and inspiring teaching and learning
  • Develop assessments and provide constructive feedback
  • Facilitate learning using appropriate materials and methods
  • Utilise technology to enable independent learning
  • Embed employability skills through teaching and learning
