Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an Art & Design Lecturer as part of the UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Practices: Art, Design and Communication. The position is multi-disciplinary with a focus on delivering design skills including fashion/ textiles and visual communication. The candidate will have a good understanding of the creative industries and a passion for providing students with industry relevant knowledge and experiences. The successful candidate will join our creative team at the WISE campus.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • The candidate should be confident in delivering engaging lessons to level 3 learners.
  • Support students personal and academic growth, whilst fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being, encourages participation and celebrates each student’s unique talents.
  • The successful candidate will have the ability to inspire and motive all students with a range of needs and experiences.
  • A knowledge of the UAL qualifications would be beneficial.
  • We are looking for a lecturer in design (fashion/ textiles and visual communication). Additional multidisciplinary skills are welcomed.
  • Promote innovation and real-world employability skills.
