We are looking to recruit a full time Lecturer in Cell Biology to deliver research-informed teaching across our undergraduate and postgraduate, bioscience and chemistry programmes, including our foundation year.
You will be an enthusiastic and committed individual, who can contribute towards the current portfolio and create a vibrant, engaging learning experience for our students.
The role will involve all aspects of learning, teaching and assessment, including preparation, lecturing, tutorials and assessment, as well as teaching of laboratory classes, supporting students on placement or in work-based learning, as well as undertaking administrative duties relevant to module and course delivery.
You should have a PhD and/or professional experience as a scientist in the cell biology academic or industrial science sector.

We are especially keen to hear from you if you can teach:

  • A broad range of cell biology (e.g. molecular cell biology, cancer cell biology, genomics/proteomics, public health, neurobiology).
  • A wide range of other areas relevant to our degree programmes, such as numeracy, basic statistics, specific laboratory techniques, academic and research skills.
