ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an academic leader for Digital Health and Clinical Trials to develop a new Digital Health Trial and Research Portfolio for Imperial Clinical Trials Unit (ICTU). ICTU works to bring together academic, trial management and data systems expertise, with the statistical and methodological group being a key component. Trial designs range across stages but are mostly focused on late phase efficacy and confirmatory trials.
Traditional clinical trials are resource intensive, and a large part of this is due to operational processes. Data-enabled trials use digital technologies to identify, recruit, monitor and collect and track outcomes. They offer advantages such as lower costs, faster recruitment, and greater participant diversity. We are seeking an individual to develop and lead a new trial and research portfolio for ICTU in Digital Health.
