Responsibilities

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are seeking to appoint a permanent post as Lecturer in Experimental Aerospace Engineering, to help develop and contribute to teaching, research, and knowledge exchange within the School of Engineering.
This role presents a fantastic opportunity to shape multidiscipline Aerospace Engineering education. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and leading cutting-edge modules in the Aerospace Engineering and Aerospace Engineering with Pilot Studies, providing mentorship to other staff, students, and contributing to research initiatives and external collaborations.
We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong academic background and deep expertise in thermofluids and aerodynamics. Significant experience in designing and conducting practical experiments in aerospace or related fields, both for teaching and research purposes, is essential.
Furthermore, individuals with a research-oriented mind-set will have the opportunity to explore their passions in Aerospace and Aviation, contributing to scholarly activities. If you have a portfolio of research related to Aerospace and Aviation or clear plans to develop one, we encourage you to apply.
