The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is seeking to appoint a part-time Lecturer in Forensic Psychology to join the team of academic staff in the School of Psychology and Social Sciences. You will be a Forensic Psychologist registered with the Health & Care Professions Council that will be able to teach practitioner skills for our students on our MSc Forensic Psychology programme accredited by the British Psychological Society.
You will be joining an ambitious school with an active research portfolio. This includes a highly successful Centre for Research into Forensic and Investigative Psychology alongside our Criminal Justice Research Network. The School also has research groups working in the areas of Childhood and Youth Psychology, Healthy Lives, Brain and Cognition and Social and Organisational Psychology.
The School has a range of specialist laboratory facilities including observation labs with both camera systems and one-way mirrors, EEG and neuro-stimulation facilities, a Virtual Reality laboratory, and an alcohol research laboratory, as well as a full range of standard experimental laboratories suitable for a wide range of psychological research.
The MSc Forensic Psychology programme is currently taught on Wednesdays, and the postholder is typically expected to be on campus on that day. However, there may be some flexibility in scheduling if all other essential criteria are met.

As an employee at the University of Winchester, we are committed to your wellbeing and development. You will have access to a wide range of benefits and support including:
