Contract- Fulltime & Variable Hours
Job location - Elm Park Campus, Stanmore
Faculty -Health & Social Care
Reports to - Curriculum Manager - Health & Social Care, Early Years
Salary Scale - £26,904- £43,110 FTE per annum
VHL- £23.46 - £36.53 per hour
GENERAL:
QUALIFICATIONS:
A good level of education including Maths & English at Level 2 (GCSE or Equivalent) - Essential - Application form/ certification.
Degree in Health & Social Care, Early Years or relevant subject area - Essential - Application form/ certification
Full teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DIT) or the willingness to work towards one, supported by the College - Essential - Application form / certification
Assessor Qualification - Desirable - Application form / Certification
Internal Quality Assurance qualification or willingness and ability to obtain one - Desirable - Application form / Certification
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE OF:
Proven experience of teaching Early Years both Education and Care - Essential - Supporting statement/teaching assessment/interview
Assessing experience in the relevant subject area - Desirable - Application form / Interview
Understanding of the health & social care, early years Foundation Stage Curriculum - Essential - Application form / Interview

JOB PURPOSE:
The main purpose of the role is to deliver high quality education and training to ensure the retention and achievement of our learners. To teach across Health & Social Care, Early year courses from level 1 to level 3 including T Levels. The lecturer will teach, develop and enhance programmes of study in subjects and courses that align with their knowledge, qualifications and experience.
