Position: Lecturer - English & Maths
Salary: £30,615 (Grade 9)
Hours: 36.25PW
Contract: Permanent (52 weeks)
Location: Lincoln
Closing Date: 30th June 2025

YOU WILL EARN AS YOU LEARN AND IN THE FIRST YEAR WILL BEGIN YOUR TEACHER TRAINING, ACHIEVING A LEVEL 5 TEACHING QUALIFICATION BY THE END OF THE PROGRAMME.

Use your professional skills in the development, preparation and delivery of the curriculum through programmes which meet individual learner needs.

  • Identify, plan and deliver skills and knowledge to learners in the educational, work and living environment with a clear focus on embedding English and Maths through project based learning.
  • Responsibility for assessing learner abilities across key curriculum areas.
  • Support learners in gaining appropriate accredited qualifications wherever possible.
  • Contribute to the identification of new teaching materials, methods and resources to help learners maximise progress including, as appropriate, the use of blended learning through our virtual learning platform.
  • Maintain records of teaching sessions, prepare learner progress reports, following college systems as well as participation in curriculum meetings.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on learner progress for EHCP review processes.
  • Participate in 6-weekly 1-1’s with your Line Manager
