MENTAL HEALTH NURSING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SALFORD:

Located in the School of Health & Society, we are looking for an exceptional individual to join our creative, committed, and passionate mental health nursing team.
As one of the largest educators of mental health nurses in the region, with a proud and proven track record of producing highly skilled graduates who can respond to the challenges of contemporary clinical practice, we welcome the opportunity to speak to registered mental health nurses with a passion for supporting their own and leading others’ learning and development.

• Developing the skills, knowledge, attitudes and behaviours of undergraduate and post graduate pre-registration mental health nursing students, post qualifying students and other learners in the School of Health & Society.
• With a focus on mental health nursing, design, develop, deliver and evaluate evidence-based teaching material and resources across a range of modules, and programmes of study.
• Supervise, mark and assess coursework and examinations, providing constructive feedback to students as part of a module team.
• Fulfil the role of personal tutor and Academic Assessor to a group of mental health nursing students.Engage in scholarly activity contributing to subject relevant evidence base.
