An exciting appointment has arisen for an experienced, talented and highly motivated individual to teach on our Motor Vehicle programmes. The candidate should possess a suitable qualification (minimum level 3) and have experience of teaching arrange of topics, ideally to include hybrid and electric vehicles. A recognised teaching qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, prepare, and teach across a range of courses ensuring schemes/records of work, assignment schedules, are appropriate
  • Ensure teaching and learning strategies and teaching materials are planned as well as accessible to meet the varied needs of all learners
  • Assess and monitor learner progress, including the setting of targets, maintaining records of work and achievement in line with internal and external schedules/ criteria and college targets
  • Promote and encourage positive student behaviour in accordance with the College values both in the classroom and wider college environment.
