LECTURER IN NURSING AND HEALTH

Wiltshire College & University Centre have a great opportunity for a Lecturer in Nursing and Health to join our team.
Location: Salisbury with cross campus working in Wiltshire
Salary: £28,168 - £39,244 per annum (Academic Grade 4 – 13) (Dependent on skills, qualifications and experience)
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, 52 weeks per year (part time hours considered).
Closing date: Thursday 24th July 2025

LECTURER IN NURSING & HEALTH – YOU:

• have a relevant health degree, or equivalent experience in adult nursing, along with previous experience teaching either BTEC, A Level or HE health qualifications, or mentoring/coaching staff.
• are committed to continuous professional development and educational excellence.

• hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards this.
• are passionate about supporting students from diverse backgrounds.

LECTURER IN NURSING & HEALTH - THE ROLE:

LECTURER IN NURSING & HEALTH – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Within this role you will be responsible for:

• delivering outstanding teaching and assessment; ensuring students reach their maximum potential.
• preparing schemes of work, lesson and assessment plans that reflect best practice.
• contributing to the wider enrichment of students including supporting pastoral needs.
• contributing to the quality of provision as measured by retention, attendance, success rates, grades and value added.
• working with various health employers in the local area, and assisting within placement assessment.
