The Discipline of occupational therapy is a global leader in allied health. We are at the forefront of enhancing occupational therapy practice, policy and education in Australia by extending the knowledge base of the profession and educating leading practitioners . The Sydney School of Health Sciences is ranked 4th in the world for sports related subjects encompassing sport, physical therapy, and rehabilitation, which includes occupational therapy. We are seeking a Lecturer (Level B) in the discipline of Occupational Therapy who is enthusiastic to advance health education for the next generation of occupational therapists to improve health outcomes for all communities.
The incumbent will be committed to make significant contribution to teaching and learning and engage in educational leadership within their School/ Faculty. This is a continuing 40% (teaching), 40% (research), and 20% (service) position, and offers an opportunity to develop and contribute to research and teaching in occupational therapy as part of a multi-disciplinary team at the Faculty of Medicine and Health.
