Job Purpose:
The School is seeking a motivated and ambitious Lecturer to join our teaching team who will contribute to the Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Group. The School would encourage applicants who have an expanding academic profile and those who aspire to generate outputs of international significance in both teaching and research. As the School itself aims to put in place significant strategies that align to the new GPhC standards for the initial education and training of pharmacists, the successful candidate will form part of an academic team that contributes to sector-leading teaching across a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The post will be located in the Faculty of Life and Health Sciences on the Coleraine campus.
The post holder will support staff as they develop and enhance the academic curricula and to support Ulster University through a range of associated duties, as deemed appropriate. They will also contribute to administrative functions of the School and, where possible, work alongside colleagues involved in research themes and activities currently active within the School.
We may create a 12-month waiting list for same or similar roles within the Department / Faculty. The University reserves the right to extend the waiting list across the University if required for certain posts.
