ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Psychology Lecturer to support both our Masters in Osteopathy programe ("M.Ost) and our BSc modified attendance programme. This can either be one candidate doing both, or two candidates teaching on one programme each. The M.Ost programme requires 30 hours of teaching across 10 weeks (3 .5 hours to include a 30 minute break) on a Tuesday from 9.00am to 12.30pm in Semester 1. The BSc modified attendance programme requires 48 hours of teaching across 16 weeks (3 hrs per week) on a Wednesday evening from 6pm to 9pm in Semester 2. In both cases teaching is online.
The role of the lecturer is to convey their passion and enthusiasm for the subject they are teaching, create a welcoming environment, foster a sense of belonging and respect. You will encourage high performance and active engagement, while promoting critical thinking and intellectual curiosity. From the outset you will establish and communicate expectations of how the students should behave and interact in the syllabus by modelling professional standards.
