LOCATION: SALISBURY, WILTSHIRE

Salary: £28,168 - £39,244 per annum, pro rata (Academic Grade 4 – 13) (Dependant on skills, qualifications and experience)

LECTURER IN TRAVEL & TOURISM – THE ROLE:

  • Teach across a range of Travel & Tourism courses, including units such as customer service, aviation operations, sustainable tourism, events, and global destinations.
  • Create dynamic, interactive lessons that reflect current industry trends and employer expectations.
  • Support learners in developing professional and personal skills that prepare them for successful careers.
  • Take part in curriculum development, student enrichment activities, and community or industry partnerships.

LECTURER IN TRAVEL & TOURISM - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and deliver engaging curriculum content in travel and tourism subjects.
  • Foster a stimulating learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to students to ensure their holistic development.
  • Contribute to the design and assessment of course modules, ensuring alignment with industry standards and educational goals.
  • Actively participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other college-wide initiatives.
