[What the role is] This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer, International Trade Business in the School of Business & Accountancy. [What you will be working on] Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Design and deliver engaging lessons, workshops and assessments that inspire learning. Refresh and enhance curriculum to reflect real-world trends in international trade and business. Equip students with skills to use Generative AI ethically and effectively in their learning. Assess student progress and maintain accurate records of performance and attendance. Mentor and support students in both their academic journey and personal growth. Lead impactful learning journeys, including overseas trips that broaden global perspectives. Contribute to school initiatives, cross-functional projects, and academic operations. [What we are looking for] At least 3 years of relevant industry experience; teaching or training experience is a plus. A passionate educator with a nurturing mindset and strong rapport with learners. Creative in using digital tools and tech-enabled strategies to enhance student engagement. Confident in teaching international trade, global business operations, and related topics. Proficient in MS Office and Power BI; knowledge of SAP is an added advantage. Industry certifications (e.g. Procurement, Business Analytics, Six Sigma, Sustainability) are a bonus.
