As a Lecturer (Level B)- Clinical Psychology, you’ll contribute to the School’s teaching and research excellence. Here’s how you’ll make it matter: Deliver innovative, evidence-based teaching across postgraduate psychology programs. Foster a student-centred learning environment using technology-enhanced and authentic assessment practices. Engage with industry and community to support work-integrated learning and employability initiatives. Contribute to course and program coordination, and support continuous curriculum development. Undertake scholarly activity to inform and advance teaching and learning practices. Contribute to supervision of honours and postgraduate psychology student projects. Engage in research related to mental health and wellbeing. This is a fixed-term, part-time position (until 31 July 2026). The fraction of appointment is negotiable, with flexibility on the number of hours worked per fortnight, provided the pattern is consistent. The position is based at Griffith University’s Brisbane South (Nathan) campus, and as Griffith is a multi-campus University, you may be required to work across other locations. Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples. Salary Range The full time equivalent base salary for an Academic Level B ranges $113,226 - $134,460 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $132,474 - $157,318 per annum. Qualifications What matters most is your drive to create a brighter future that benefits all. You will also have: PhD (or equivalent) in clinical psychology or a related discipline. Registration as a psychologist in Australia (AHPRA) with area of practice endorsement in Clinical Psychology. Completed board approved supervisor training and eligible to provide clinical supervision. Demonstrated success in delivering innovative, student-focused teaching. Evidence of reflective and scholarly approaches to learning and teaching. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
