Plymouth Marjon University are seeking an NMC registered, experienced academic lecturer to join our ambitious team within the School of Health, Wellbeing and Social Science. You will have extensive knowledge of the requirements of either adult nursing, learning disability nursing and/or mental health nursing and be able to evidence your own expert skills in practice. It will be beneficial for applicants to have experience of academic practice in learning and teaching, leadership or research and knowledge exchange. You must be a strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.You will be teaching on our suite of nursing and healthcare education programmes, including on apprenticeship routes.

You will be teaching across our suite of nursing and healthcare education programmes: including MSc. Registered Nursing (Mental Health & Learning Disability), BSc. Registered Nurse, Nursing Associate and Assistant Practitioner.
You will act as an Academic Assessor and/or Personal Tutor and provide pastoral support to learners.
You must be a strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills and support the development of curriculums with specific focus on learning disability and/or mental health nursing.
