JOB SUMMARY

The Department of Mathematics & Statistics within the School of Computing at Middle Georgia State University is seeking candidates for a Lecturer to for the Cochran Campus to teach day and evening classes in mathematics.

REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Master¿s degree or equivalent in mathematics or related disciplines.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Candidates may be considered for the rank of senior lecturer if they possess adequate experience or education.

Responsibilities

Teaching responsibilities will be at the undergraduate level. Candidates should be able to teach a variety of mathematics courses in the program (https://www.mga.edu/computing/mathematics-statistics/index.php) Teaching responsibilities will include day and/or evening classes. The primary teaching responsibilities will be in the Cochran Campus, however, travel between campuses (Cochran, Dublin, Macon, and Warner Robins) will be required. In addition to teaching, job requirements include service to the institution.
