Responsibilities

The main purpose of the role is to support the academic and professional development of students on BA (Hons) Games Design, and other programmes as required. The post holder will design and deliver teaching, engage in research and/or enterprise activities and undertake administrative and pastoral duties as required. We are seeking candidates with expertise and experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Proficiency with games engines (preferably Unreal Engine)
  • Technical programming skills
  • Industry experience, ideally with a leadership role in a studio or involvement in the production of shipped games
  • Experience in a producer or project management role within the games industry, with knowledge of agile workflows, sprints, and managing cross-disciplinary teams

The post is ideally suited for those with experience in the games industry who wish to enter Higher Education teaching.
