THE OPPORTUNITY
The School of Primary and Allied Health Care is on the lookout for their next Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to join their team within the department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences. This 6.5 month opportunity aims to prepare students for effective and ethical professional practice in a diverse range of modern medical imaging modalities and to pursue careers in radiography, medical ultrasound, radiation therapy and research.
As a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Radiography, you will contribute to the delivery of the Bachelor of Radiography and Medical Imaging (Honours) and support undergraduate and postgraduate teaching within the Department. You will implement innovative teaching approaches across face-to-face, online, and blended learning environments; develop and coordinate courses; deliver lectures, tutorials, practicals, and clinical sessions; consult with students; and undertake marking and assessment.
You may co-supervise honours and postgraduate students, conduct original research leading to high-quality publications and external funding, and contribute to the discipline at national and international levels. The role may also contribute to administrative responsibilities, participation in departmental planning and committees, and support research and program development activities, particularly at the Senior Lecturer level.
