Job description
Do you have experience in teaching & working in the sport and fitness industry? Are you looking to make a difference through teach the next generation of Sport Scientists, Coaches, Personal Trainers, Sports Therapists/Physiotherapists and other roles in this industry?
An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Buckinghamshire College Group for a full-time lecturer at our Aylesbury campus with the flexibility to work at our Wycombe Campus. We are looking for an experienced sports lecturer or suitable trainee teacher who can inspire students beyond their ambition.
Our sport courses offer students the opportunity to explore all disciplines in the sport and fitness industries. Subjects are explored in both a practical and theoretical manner and we involve employers in the design and delivery of the curriculum. We are looking for an experienced lecturer who has vocational / professional / academic experience in sport and potentially has served in the uniformed services. We can provide full teacher training and support for a suitable candidate.

The suitable candidate will:

• Use current professional / academic / vocational experience to deliver aspirational, engaging learning opportunities that motivate student satisfaction
• Promote high levels of student ambition leading to positive progression and excellent employer satisfaction.
• Deliver high quality, innovative teaching at all levels.
• Work closely with other staff and students to overcome barriers for students to ensure they receive the best start in their chosen careers.
• Have a range of fitness instruction and coaching qualifications
• Desirably have experience in the Public Services
