Job Description We are seeking candidates for the role of Lecturer (Teaching Focused) in Dentistry. The successful candidate will be expected to make informed contributions to the teaching effort of the School of Medicine and Dentistry and to carry out activities to maintain and develop scholarly, and/or professional activities relevant to the disciplines within dentistry and oral health. At a level B, a Teaching Focused Lecturer is expected to perform the full academic responsibilities and related administration in support of the development, coordination and delivery of courses in dentistry and oral health. The incumbent will also contribute to the broader mission of the School, through scholarly and service activities as negotiated with their Academic Supervisor. This is a continuing, part-time (60%) position based at Griffith University Gold Coast. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations. Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples. Salary Range The full time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level B range $117,076 - $139,031 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $136,979 - $162,667 per annum. Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates will need to possess: A doctoral or master’s degree in Oral Medicine, or a closely related field, and/or demonstrable substantial experience in teaching Oral Medicine at the undergraduate and post graduate level. Registration, or eligibility for registration, as a dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra). Additional Information Why Griffith?
