ABOUT YOU (KEY REQUIREMENTS)
The successful applicant will be expected to be knowledgeable (both generally and in any specific area) about climate infrastructure finance and be passionate and enthusiastic about teaching. The post holder will prepare and deliver appropriate teaching material, including regular lectures, tutorials and seminars, as part of the delivery of the relevant module requirements.
The individual undertaking this role will also contribute to research programme set in the AXA Grant – “Climate risks cascade along global energy infrastructure and socioeconomic networks”.
The appointee is required to have a PhD or equivalent, relevant to climate infrastructure finance and/or infrastructure decarbonisation or related discipline. They will have knowledge of relevant practice in the field based on professional practice experience or academic research and publishing.
They will also have experience of teaching at postgraduate taught and undergraduate levels including the design and management of modules in higher education. The successful candidate will be able to work harmoniously with staff and students of all cultures and backgrounds.

ABOUT THE ROLE
University College London (UCL) wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Climate Infrastructure Finance. The post holder will be based at The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction at the Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment, a world-leading faculty ranked #1 in the world for Built Environment studies and #1 in the UK for its research environment. The post holder will carry out teaching, research, and programme administration within the Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction, in the field of Climate Infrastructure Finance, consistent with the vision and mission of The School. This role is available from 01 September 2025 to 30 August 2030 in the first instance.
