Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an exceptional candidate for the role of Lecturer (Teaching) MA Applied Linguistics and TESOL. You will join the UCL Centre for Applied Linguistics, and contribute to the teaching and teaching-related activities of the Applied Linguistics and TESOL MA programmes.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to teaching and first-marking, ensuring that the modules reflect the dimensions of the Connected Curriculum.
  • Keeping up to date with learning and teaching developments and being alert to best practice (through UCL Arena, subject associations, conferences, professional events and journals).
  • Working with other lecturers on the modules to ensure that student evaluation is managed effectively and used to enhance provision for current and/or future cohorts.
