Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced HCPC-registered Diagnostic Radiographers to join our growing academic team in the School of Health & Wellbeing at the University of Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to join the radiography team and contribute to the development of our BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography programme as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer.

Depending on skills and experience, the successful candidate will be appointed as either a Lecturer (Teaching) or a Senior Lecturer (Teaching). Key responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver innovative teaching and learning materials, including blended learning approaches.
  • Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations and contribute to assessment processes.
  • Act as Personal Academic Tutor and support student development.
  • Engage with recruitment and selection activities.
  • Undertake academic administrative responsibilities and contribute to School and University committees.
  • Participate in scholarly activity, CPD, and professional development.
  • Promote inter-professional learning and collaboration across the School.
  • Ensure inclusive, sustainable, and safe teaching practices.

We are looking for forward-thinking individuals who are passionate about Diagnostic Radiography education. You will have a strong understanding of the current healthcare landscape, including the integration of technologies such as artificial intelligence, and be committed to preparing students for modern clinical practice.
